corbie init [--store <address>] [--ceiling <list>] [--deny <entry>] [--name <name>] | store [--listen host:port]
create a controller, a runner and a client on this computer
It creates the three in the config directory, makes each trust the others, sets up the store and prints what it did. Running it again replaces the ceiling with the one then given.
--store <address>the store: a directory, or an S3 bucket as s3://…; default the one the config records, or CORBIE_STORE, or on a new config the directory store in it
--ceiling <list>the most any job on this computer may be allowed, as entries separated by commas: all, or network, disk, or net:api.github.com,fs.read:/srv/**; default nothing
--deny <entry>a permission the ceiling refuses, whatever it allows; repeatable
--name <name>names the three <name>-controller, <name>-runner and <name>-client; default this computer's host name
corbie init store sets up only the store's server, which gives other computers this computer's store directory, on a config that holds the controller; corbie start then runs it.
store --listen host:portwhere it listens; default :8372, every network interface, with this computer's host name given to other computers
store --listen ""serves the directory to no other computer
A name that another controller has on the store is refused.
- One computer this setup, and keeping it running
- Served directory store, and adding other computers
- Permissions the entries of a ceiling
Every command takes --json, --config and --store: see corbie --help.
